Moody for Hospice held its first fundraising event in 2015. Since then, we have raised over $55K for this most important community support organization. We will continue to find ways to support this very needed organization.
In 1982, “Hospice of Williamsburg” was founded as a nonprofit charitable organization by lay and professional volunteers to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and to support the people they love. Support services are provided to individuals living in Williamsburg, James City County, or upper York County.
Be sure to join our mailing list and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the most up-to-date information about our specials and to learn more about our events in support of Hospice House.
The Edge District established in 2019 is where James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg converge, this foodie destination is located just on the edge of one of the Commonwealth’s largest tourism draws, the historic triangle.
In 2001, the farm was re-established as KelRae Farm, named after the Gulden’s two oldest daughters (two other daughters came along several years later!). What began as a part-time adventure grew into a full-time farming career, as KelRae Farm began to build a reputation in the Williamsburg/James City and York County area.
Known for locally grown fresh produce, our farm in Toano now sells a wide variety of greens, vegetables, melons, sunflowers, and even fresh free-range eggs. Come visit our Market Store on the property and see a real working farm in action while shopping for produce picked fresh daily. You can also find us at the Williamsburg Farmers Market each Saturday in season, as well as through our popular CSA program.
The Hornsby House is our favorite off-premise location to throw a party. It has a great indoor/outdoor pavilion that is perfect for upscale events for all occasions.
Over the years, our knowledge of raising poultry grew. We wanted to supply the top culinary markets with the taste, texture, and culinary advantages of superior birds, raised with no pesticides, animal by-products, hormones, growth stimulators, or antibiotics EVER. Today we do just that. It is what we call Naked Chicken, and it’s the finest all-natural domestic chicken for sale in America.
We found our customers appreciated something better, more flavorful than factory-farmed commodity chickens. We set out to produce the absolute best-tasting chicken possible.
Like our food, we only the very best. Same goes for our photography for special events. For that reason we use Corey Miller. Corey Miller studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, then honed his skill first-hand under photographers and film makers in Los Angeles and New York. In 1992, he founded Corey Miller Photography and rapidly developed an impressive client list, shooting portraits for magazines such as Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Sony Style and more. Now living in Williamsburg, VA, Corey Miller is ideally situated to create studio and natural light portraits, fashion photography and editorial features for local, national and international clients.
Established in 1937, Drumheller’s Orchard has been a family-owned and operated farm located in Lovingston, Virginia ever since. They have continuously planted more varieties of peaches and apples and berry brambles each year and it has allowed them to expand their harvest and distribution seasons.
